By doing this art activity, I made my mom really happy and  I learned many things about tiling.
This art activity was a great opportunity to learn how to tile things. I noticed that tiling is very difficult but very interesting and helpful.
I think this was one of the most interesting and useful art activiy I've ever done before! ;)
3 elements/principles that are presented in my mosaic art  are texture, color, and pattern. As you see, I used 7 different colors. I used green tiles for background, red, yellow and purple tiles and dark blue, blue and green marvels. I have different colors instead of just all red. Another thing is, my mosaic art has patterns and it has different textures.  ------------------------------I hope you guys like my mother's day art!
*When my mom sees this mirror, she'll look like she's covered by a big beautiful red flower! It will definitely make my mom very happy!*

Great reflection. Can you tell me how used the colours, patterns, and different textures? Please add to your reflection. If you're unsure, please review the video that was posted on the weekend and the one that was posted tonight. :)

Great job but in your reflection you should talk about what you learned and enjoyed.

I think you should have smashed up your tiles a little more to get a stronger, 'feel' to your mirror. I also think you should have cleaned up every tile and marble a little more, to make it look a little more professional. I extremely liked your choice of patterns and design. Adding the marble pieces was a really nice touch. Overall, I think you did an awesome job! (:

Great job! I really like your use of shape with the flower and of course your use of colour; contrasting colours always work well together. My only advice would be to (as Sandy mentioned), make your pieces a little smaller. You have to think of your design, a flower is delicate, so your pieces should reflect this...but don't worry, that all comes with practice! I hope you keep up the great work.
