Our class studied about The Charter of Rights & Freedoms and persecution. I learned that if Canada didn't have the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Canada would've been an awful place to live. For example, let's say you're not allowed to move in, out or around Canada. You cannot go to Alberta, Quebec or other countries to see your friends and family. You don't know nothing about other countries and you cannot go anywhere. How terrible would that be like? Well lucky in Canada, we have the rights to move in, out and around Canada. ;)
Also, I learned that persecutting other people because they have different skin color, they speak other languages or they believe in different religion is very cruel and unfair.
For my prezi, I explained how The Charter of Rights & Freedoms relates to persecusion. Also, I explained what the Charter of Rights & Freedoms is and how it helps us today.
